Purple Oud by Dior
Notes: Oud, Pink peppercorn, Saffron, Orange
Christian Dior was born in Normandy, France, in 1905, and he first channeled his love for art into opening an art gallery. In 1938, he entered the fashion world as a designer for Robert Piquet. After serving in World War II, Dior was able to open his own fashion house in 1946. His opulent designs made him successful in the post-war era, and his brand quickly expanded into furs, perfumes, and accessories. Although Christian Dior died in 1957, the company bearing his name continues to live on, creating distinctive fashions, accessories, cosmetics, and fragrances.
Many Christian Dior perfumes are delicate, feminine, and great for daytime wear. For instance, wild rose and almond blossom are among the prominent springtime-inspired notes of Forever and Ever, a popular Christian Dior perfume for her. Other Christian Dior perfumes are better suited for a night out, with nothing delicate or subtle about them, such as Dior Addict, a bold tropical scent combining citrus with undertones of sandalwood and vanilla. The extensive line of Christian Dior perfume for her ensures that there is a scent that will appeal to everyone.
