Eau Des Merveilles is a woody fragrance that was released by Hermes in 2004. It was created by Ralf Schwieger and Nathalie Feisthauer. The fragrance has top notes of vetiver, oak, and cedar. Its heart note is amber. Its base notes consist of lemon, orange, elemi, and pink pepper. Eau Des Merveilles has moderate sillage and is long lasting.
Hermes is a French company that specializes in luxury goods and accessories. This house was founded in 1837 by Thierry Hermes. While it originally manufactured equestrian accessories, it now also distributes leather handbags, scarves, fashion items, accessories, and fragrances. The company first got into the fragrance world in 1951. Its first scent released was Eau d’Hermes, created by Edmond Roudnitska. In 2004, after the success of several fragrance releases, the company took on Jean-Claude Ellena as the exclusive perfumer for the brand. Fragrances continue to be created and released by this house.
